Frequently Asked Questions
What are the dimensions of the mercury faceplate?
8" W x 4" H |
What protection from water does the mercury offer?
The pilot hood is expertly designed to provide enhanced protection by directing water away from the pilot components. When the WATERSTOP® fitting is incorporated on the burner, there is unparalleled protection for the system from water and debris. |
Can the mercury be installed in the field?
The Mercury can easily be installed on-site, to a new or existing burner system. Our comprehensive manual provides detailed installation instructions. |
Does the mercury require a key valve?
The Mercury uses a manual controlled gas valve that uses a control knob for turning on, lighting, controlling the flame height, and turning the system off. The control knob is used rather than a key and key valve. A key valve can be added for a redundant shut-off but is not required. |
What is the mercury's warranty?
The ignition is backed by a 3 year warranty on residential installations and a 1 year warranty on commercial installations. |
