This Kingsman IDV26 Direct Vent Insert is a great option. With an efficiency rating of 67%, variable speed blower, and dual burner, this fireplace insert could be a high-performing upgrade to any existing wood-burning fireplace. These vent inserts are often installed in any fireplace that exceeds 29.5" wide, 14.125" deep, and 19.5" tall. This insert also includes an adjustable thermostat that permits you to manage the temperature, and therefore the high BTU output allows you to supplement or replace your existing home heating system.

Inserts are complete units that fit into existing wood-burning fireplaces. They require no additions such as glass doors or screens and contains a combustion chamber with gas logs.

Uses a dual vent system, generally two 3" flex gas lines, one pipe is for exhaust, while the other pipe brings in outside air for combustion. the look of those inserts allows for a totally sealed system that doesn't compromise the within air quality of your home.
